I had never done Pilates before but had heard about the benefits several times. It’s not something I’d normally do to be honest. However, after talking with Alex I decided to give it a go with the taster session. Honestly, it’s been amazing.
After only a few sessions (coupled with massages from Alex too) my back ache has gone and I am seeing some toning which I never thought possible!! (I’m not a gym person so I’m made up!!)
The reformer table is really good. It looks terrifying (as a newbie) but it’s incredible how the smallest of movements can have such an effect.
I’m also now able to keep my legs straight and touch the floor. Not been able to do that since I was a kid!!!
If you’ve never tried Pilates before, give it a go here. Alex explains everything and offers some great advice. She also doesn’t judge when you ask daft questions... or need the move repeating several times!!!
I’d definitely recommend it. I’m travelling from South Manchester for the sessions and it’s well worth it.

I throughly enjoy my weekly one to one session with Alex. Over the past 3 months Alex has introduced me to exercises on the Reformer, Cadillac and mat work. I have also enjoyed a couple of sports massages too when I needed to loosen up tired muscles. I can honestly say that I feel much more aware of my own posture and balance since we started our sessions and a number of my longstanding aches and pains are subsiding. I for one am one very happy customer.

I’ve seen Alex for a range of treatments including physio, sports rehab and also sports massages. Alex is extremely professional and her treatments are nothing short of fantastic. She offers very unique and customised sessions, and will do everything she can to help! I’ve also popped along to a few of her Pilates sessions, which are thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend Alex and will continue to visit her for a very long time :)

I love Alex’s Pilates classes, especially her Pilates Reformer classes. I’ve been many times and never been disappointed. The Reformer classes are tough but good fun! Alex is great - very professional, friendly and she helps keep you motivated. I’ve also had sport massages off Alex in the past. She’s a woman of many talents! I’d definitely recommend.

I attend Alex’s Pilates Mat Class and also have a weekly sports massage to help with a long term condition.
Alex is always professional and friendly and is very well educated and knowledgeable in her field of expertise.
I thoroughly enjoy her Pilates Mat Classes as there’s always something new thrown into the mix each week. With a variety of apparatus combined into the Mat work there’s always something new to try and challenge me. Alex’s sports massage have helped no end with a hip condition I have and I can always look forward to the following morning now as I know I will be able to make it down the stairs without pain and inflexibility; they’ve been a godsend.
I thoroughly recommend you contact Alex for treatments and/or Pilates. You won’t regret it nor will you find anyone better.
